Holy Communion is celebrated at all Sunday morning worship services. A nursery is available on Sunday mornings from 7:45 until noon.
We believe that God has offered the free gift of eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ. As with any gift, this priceless treasure is ours not because we deserve it, but rather it is given in love, the love of God.
God's love shows itself in the life, death and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ. With his death on a cross God's Son paid the penalty for our sins. With his resurrection Jesus shows us that we, who believe in him, will one day live with him in heaven.
On Sundays and during the week we gather for worship, study, fellowship, mutual support and service. We do this to say "thank you" to God for all he has done and continues to do in our lives. We do this because we want to grow as people and as Christians. We want to celebrate God's love and share it with others.
We believe that there is a place in God's heart for you.
OSW will offer a 9-week Personal Finance Course on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. beginning on Sunday, February 2, 2013. The class will meet in the Library. Participants will view the same 9 DVDs (each about 60 minutes in length) that are used for the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University (FPU) evening course that is offered periodically at OSW. However, unlike the regular evening course, participants in the Sunday sessions will not have textbooks, workbooks, or homework. Participants are welcome to attend all 9 sessions – which will be listed in Sunday’s Bulletin -- that they may attend only those they consider most important. There will be no charge for the Sunday morning course.

Faith is all about relationships. There is no such thing as a solo faith experience. Faith always leads us into a closer relationship with God and with those around us. In the book of Acts the early followers of Christ were described as devoted to community and to learning God's Word:
"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to the fellowship. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:42a, 46,47)."As our congregation grows larger we also need to grow smaller. Our desire is to find ways to help people connect with God and with each other. This is what "Doing Life Together" is all about. Our hope is to provide a place for every person to experience Christian community where they can spiritually grow, find comfort and support in life, and experience the joy of serving Christ so others might experience His love for them.
