Haiti Earthquake – Information and Donations

Early this fall many of you as individuals and groups "adopted" children attending the Village of Hope School which is in the countryside outside of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The magnitude 7.0 earthquake which struck on January 12 has left tens of thousands dead and hundreds of thousands homeless and injured. Officials for the Village of Hope School at the headquarters building in Port-au-Prince are attempting to determine the situation at the school which is about 15 miles away from them or about 25 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake. You can find out information on the earthquake damage as well as other background information from the Village of Hope website at www.lazarusprojecthaiti.org.
